I'm a software engineer at Infoblox, where I work on the operating system behind DNS, DHCP, and IP address management for mission-critical networks.

Before that I researched machine learning for cancer genomics at the University of British Columbia Algorithms Lab and the BC Cancer Research Institute, and spent four years as a teaching assistant teaching software design, systems programming, and algorithms. I like working close to the metal — kernels, schedulers, and the parts of the stack most people never have to think about.

  • Leading development of an automated triage tool to streamline analysis of high-severity support escalations.
  • Architecting and implementing automated DNSSEC trust anchor verification in C and Python, maintaining security and preventing outages during trust anchor rollovers.
